AFTER HOURS IN A BANK? BUT THIS ISN'T YOUR TYPICAL BANK EITHER!
Thank you, Umpqua Bank for hosting a terrific After Hours event. Travis Brown and his team welcomed Chamber members to an After Hours get-together at the bank and well, for some of us who have never been inside Umpqua, let's just say, "Wow!" It is NOT your typical bank setting. It felt more like the lobby of a high-end hotel than a bank. Drinks were flowing (in glasses, of course!) and the food was amazing, thanks to Ripe Catering. Yum! The evening ended with a raffle where wine and flowers were given away. Who cares that it was raining for a time?
IF YOU LOVE TO SHOP TIL YOU DROP, THEN THIS WAS THE PLACE TO BE!
Well, leave it to Chamber members Tonya Perpich and Toni Radford at Aegis Living on Galer to pull out all the stops (again!) for a terrific shopping experience on April 27th. And fantastic food and drink to boot! Three shops came in to show off their wares, including LulaRoe (women's clothing), Feller (cool-looking rainwear), and the Chamber's very own Mary Bea Gallagher, who makes some beautifully-designed women's jewelry. And don't think it was just for women! There were some men in attendance, including Chamber member Kevin Bohner.
YOU MISSED A GREAT EVENT: WELCOME, EMERALD CITY MEDICAL ARTS
This was not your typical ribbon-cutting ceremony! Leave it to Queen Anne Chamber President Hossein Soleymani to add that extra chuckle at the end of the event. Along with Board members Tonya Perpich, Seth Gililland, and Debbie Girard, the Chamber helped celebrate Uptown's latest business, Emerald City Medical Arts, also a new Chamber member. Also on hand at the celebration were Queen Anne and Magnolia News' Joe Veyera and Kibby Brackman. Staff and other guests (yes, we're looking at you, little tyke!) mixed and mingled and enjoyed some great eats and drinks! Congratulations to Walter, Scott, and the rest of the team at Emerald City Medical Arts! Why not stop by and check it out? The office is located at 16 Roy Street in Seattle.
