Show Up, Seattle! Day of Service—Citywide Volunteer Day on September 26

Show Up, Seattle! Day of Service, now in its fifth year, brings together volunteers citywide to support neighborhood cleanups, beautification efforts, community gardens, parks, schools, nonprofit organizations, and community-led service projects.

The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, Seattle Public Utilities, Seattle Parks & Recreation, Community School–West Seattle, and community partners launched volunteer recruitment on September 2, 2026. Volunteers can browse project descriptions and register at www.seattle.gov/day-of-service.

The city also welcomes registrations from organizations, neighborhood groups, schools, faith communities, businesses, and residents to host volunteer events. Whether organizing a neighborhood park cleanup, caring for a community garden, supporting a local nonprofit, or leading another community improvement project, volunteer hosts help create opportunities for neighbors to serve together.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 26, 2026.
