| COUNCIL BUSINESS APPOINTMENT OF TWO NEW TRUSTEES TO QACC BOARD The board unanimously approved a resolution naming Marcus White and Samuel Hilbert to the board for a one-year term to fill existing board vacancies. Welcome Marcus and Samuel! MEMORIAL STADIUM AND MEMORIAL WALL The QACC board approved a letter supporting the designation of a historical landmark for the Memorial Wall and opposing that designation for the Stadium. Determination by the Historical Preservation Board is pending. You can review a copy of the letter HERE. OCTOBER MEETING RESCHEDULED The October meeting for the QACC board has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 11 at 7 PM. SIGNUP before 5 pm on the day of the meeting to receive the Zoom link. QACC ANNUAL MEETING The Council will hold its Annual Meeting and Election of Trustees on Wednesday, September 20 at 7 pm. This will be a Zoom event. At that time there will be a vote for candidates to fill the 11 seats that will be available on the board. Anyone who lives, works, owns or operates a business in Queen Anne, or who owns property in Queen Anne is eligible to vote. You must attend this virtual meeting to vote; voting will be confidential using a voting tool; and results will be announced at the meeting.
